    Max Verstappen secured a commanding victory at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. His win was sealed by a bold overtake at the race start, where he passed pole-sitter Oscar Piastri on the outside at Turn 1. Verstappen described the move, saying, “I thought I’d send it around the outside — and it worked really well.”

    Red Bull Celebrates Milestone Weekend with Strong Win

    This race marked Red Bull’s 400th Grand Prix. Verstappen’s win was both timely and impressive, marking his fourth consecutive victory at Imola. The result brings him within 22 points of new championship leader Oscar Piastri, who finished third behind teammate Lando Norris. Verstappen remains a strong contender for the title as the season moves toward Monaco.

    Ferrari and Hamilton Bounce Back with Impressive Performance

    Lewis Hamilton delivered his best result of the season, recovering from 12th on the grid to finish fourth. His aggressive overtaking and smart race strategy pleased Ferrari fans. Racing in his first home race for Ferrari, Hamilton said, “It feels great to finally give something back to this team,” reflecting his uplift in form during the 2025 season.

    McLaren Struggles to Match Verstappen’s Speed

    McLaren employed different strategies for drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Despite this, they could not catch Verstappen after his strong start. A safety car period benefited both Verstappen and Hamilton, but Piastri’s timing was less fortunate. Team boss Andrea Stella acknowledged, “Once Max was ahead, we couldn’t catch him.”
