    Photographer Killed Outside Sanford Home

Two women face charges related to the shooting death of 34-year-old photographer Lauren Ashley Martin. The tragic incident, broadcast live on social media, took place outside a home in Sanford, Florida.

Police arrested Lakevia Davonna Pringle, 31, and Savon Chantay Tyler, 35, after responding to the scene. Officers arrived shortly after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and found Martin lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported her to a local hospital, but she was later pronounced dead.

    Argument Escalates Into Deadly Confrontation

Martin’s family told WESH that she had a dispute with Tyler over photos she had taken. Police reported that Martin and Tyler had an ongoing feud that escalated on the day of the shooting. Martin drove to Tyler’s home, where a verbal argument turned physical. The altercation culminated in Tyler shooting Martin multiple times.

Pringle, present during the shooting, allegedly livestreamed the event on social media. During the livestream, Pringle was heard encouraging Tyler to continue the fight. Despite police efforts to interview her, Pringle remained uncooperative.

Tyler was arrested at the scene and charged with first-degree murder. After a warrant was issued for her arrest, Pringle surrendered to authorities on Friday. She faces charges of being an accessory to first-degree premeditated murder.

Sanford Police Chief Cecil Smith expressed sorrow over the violence, stating, “A family is mourning the loss of a loved one because someone chose to settle a disagreement with violence. The reasons behind the argument may fade, but the pain of losing Lauren will stay with her family and friends forever. There are always better ways to handle conflict than resorting to violence.”

Sanford, part of the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford metropolitan area, is about 25 miles northeast of downtown Orlando. The tragedy highlights the enduring impact of violence on families and communities.
